Richard E. Litov, Ph.D.
Director

As Site Director, Dr. Litov manages site operations for three locations: Owensboro, KY, Newburgh, IN, and Henderson, KY. Dr. Litov reviews and writes study protocols. He is also the contact for sponsor and contract research organization study feasibilities, CDA’s, and contracts.

Dr. Litov has over 25 years experience in designing and conducting clinical and preclinical studies, including twelve years with Pedia Research and twelve with Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Carroll E. Howard, M.D.
Medical Director of Pediatrics
Board Certified in Pediatrics

Dr. Howard serves as both Principal and Sub-investigator in various therapeutic areas.

Dr. Howard has over 40 years experience practicing medicine in pediatrics. He has conducted clinical research with Pedia Research for the past twelve years.

William L. Tyler III, M.D.
Medical Director of Internal Medicine
Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Dr. Tyler serves as both Principal and Sub-investigator.

Dr. Tyler has 30 years experience practicing internal medicine and is very knowledgeable about many different therapeutic areas. He has conducted clinical research with Pedia Research for the past three years.

Davie Sue Wallace, B.S., M.S.
Director of Business Development

Davie Sue has played an important part in the development of Pedia Research for over 5 years. She initiates business relationships with the sponsors and contract research organizations, as well as with our community. She also manages human resources, advertising, and promotion.

Kerry Coates, R.N., B.S.N.
Study Coordinator Assistant

As a study coordinator assistant, Kerry’s responsibilities include subject recruitment and follow up. She coordinates subject visits and evaluates patients on a regular basis.

With over 10 years experience as a registered nurse, Kerry makes important contributions to the Pedia Research team. She has a background in many nursing areas, including intensive and cardiac care.

Sabrina M. Grant, B.S.
Study Coordinator Assistant

Sabrina screens potential subjects and conducts subject visits on a daily basis.

She has experience in medical records, media advertising, outside sales, and managing a retail store.

Brian K. Jennings, C.N.M.T.
Study Coordinator Assistant

Brian screens potential subjects and conducts subject visits on a daily basis.

Brian has been a nuclear medicine technician for over 10 years conducting tests on cardiac and oncology patients.

Mark A. McCoy, B.A., C.C.R.C.
Site Supervisor/Rater

As a Site Supervisor and accomplished Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, Mark plays an important role in nearly every study at Pedia Research. He coaches, trains, and directs the study coordinators on studies in different therapeutic areas. He has experience and certifications for administering a variety of central nervous system rating assessments, including the HAM-A, HAM-D, YMRS, MINI, K-SADS-PL, CDRS-R, and SADS-CB.

Mark has been involved in the medical field for nearly 15 years. He also served his country in the Army National Guard. He is credited with more than 30 studies as a coordinator at Pedia Research over the past five years.

Terra Potts
Regulatory Specialist

Terra oversees the regulatory operations at Pedia Research. She maintains regulatory files and is the contact for the sponsor, contract research organization, and IRB for regulatory matters.

Terra has a background in administrative work and extensive regulatory experience while at Pedia Research for over five years.

Karen M. Robertson, B.S.
Study Coordinator

Karen has performed a variety of functions including recruiting and conducting study subject visits for seven years at Pedia Research. She also plays an integral role in the daily operations at Pedia Research in Newburgh, IN and Henderson, KY.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Karen’s background includes work with both geriatric and developmentally disabled patients. She has several years’ experience in the marketing field for a variety of areas, which is key to her success in subject recruitment both on the phone and in person.

Season R. Schmidt, B.S.
Study Coordinator Assistant

Season assists with the recruitment of study subjects, subject assessment, and is responsible for ensuring subject follow-up.

Season has been promoting health professionally for 5 years, including that of a Health Educator and Wellness & Fitness Instructor.

Diana Sheahen, B.S.
Administrative Assistant

Diana assists in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the office. Her work includes maintaining the patient database.

Diana has worked in the accounting field for many years from administering medical benefit packages for large corporations to budgeting and balance sheet administration. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
